Jennifer is a native of Northwest Louisiana, spending most of her adult life in the Shreveport-Bossier area. She spent the majority of her career as a Physician Assistant at LSU Health Sciences Center in Internal Medicine, Hematology, Physician Assistant Program Faculty, and as Gratis Faculty for the Department of Medicine.
She is a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants (www.aapa.org) and Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants (www.ourlapa.org). She has held many local, state and national offices and appointments over the course of her nineteen year career as a Physician Assistant.
She serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Mustard Seed Medical Mission, as well as the Executive Director and provider of that organization. This was established in 2009 to provide medical services to patients in need that would otherwise be unable to afford these services.
Leisure activities include baseball and softball games with her family, running, cooking and of course, shopping.
