Dr. Rice has rejoined Highland Clinic January 2011. He specializes in surgical and non-surgical management of disorders affecting the head and neck, ears, nose and throat.
Dr. Rice graduated from Northwestern State University in Natchitoches and earned his medical degree from LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, where he received the John C. McDonald Undergraduate Surgery Award. He was also the two time recipient of the National Bernstein Scholarship for Academic Excellence, and was also elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society.
Dr. Rice completed his internship in General Sugery, followed by a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at LSUHSC, during which time he won his department's annual research competition twice, for research involving head and neck cancer as well as complicated sinus disease.
