Having cosmetic surgery can be very rewarding but also very stressful. We want your cosmetic surgery experience to be a pleasant one, going to great lengths to assure your comfort and safety. We pride ourselves in treating our patients professionally and with the utmost respect.
We recognize that every patient is different, with different motivation and different expectations. It is important that all patients be thoroughly informed about their surgery, from a detailed description of what will be done to a discussion of each potential complication. Unlike many Surgeons offices where patients meet with a nurse for their initial consultation, I meet with every new patient. While my staff is very knowledgeable about all procedures and often assist in patient education, I believe that all patients should develop a professional relationship with their surgeon so that both patient and surgeon can openly communicate their concerns and expectations preoperatively and postoperatively. I want every patient to achieve the best result possible and to be satisfied that their improvement was well worth the discomfort and investment in time and money. Although neither I, nor my staff will judge a patient for wanting to have a certain procedure, it is very important that patients demonstrate to us expectations that are realistic given their preoperative appearance, and a clear indication that they are self-motivated, not from someone else, to undergo a permanent change. After all, the patient, no one else, will have to live with this change for the rest of their life.
I will not operate on just anyone wanting cosmetic surgery. Getting to know our patients preoperatively allows us to determine who is a good candidate for surgery both physically and emotionally. By doing this we have been able to keep our patient satisfaction rate extremely high.
