Dr. Massingill was in private practice in Internal Medicine in Rayville, Louisiana from 1975 until 1989. His interest in the care and treatment of patients diagnosed with cancer and related problems were the factors that led him to complete a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology in 1992.
He joined Highland Clinic Hematology/Oncology Department at that time. In 1995 he became the Medical Director for Hospice of Shreveport/Bossier.
Dr. Massingill's committment to his patients is manifest in the excellent staff that assist him. The Certified Oncology nurses, medical assistants and front office staff are dedicated to provide a relaxed, pleasant atmosphere as well as quality care. They are sensitive to the concerns or difficulties the patients could encounter and it is their goal to lessen these as much as possible.
Patient visits are by appointment. He accepts most insurance plans.
