Dr. Kampert joined Highland Clinic in July 2010. He completed his residency and served as a staff internist in the United States Air Force from May 2001 through June 2008. He then moved to Shreveport to complete a fellowship in Rheumatology at Louisiana State University Health Science Center.
Beginning September 20, 2010, Dr. Kampert will be seeing patients in Natchitoches at 1029 Keyser Avenue.
Dr. Kampert specialized in the non-surgical diagnosis and treatment of most types of joint disease, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, bursitis, tendonitis, gout and autoimmune diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, scleroderma, sarcoidosis, ankylosing spondylitis and vasculitis.
While adults comprise the majority of his practice, Dr. Kampert does see pediatric patients on a case-by-case basis.
Dr. Kampert is married to Amanda Busby Kampert, M.D. who is from Many, Louisiana and practices pediatrics in Shreveport. They have two children, William and Nicholas.
