Dr. Walton is a native of Florien, Louisiana.  She attended Louisiana Tech University where she earned a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Biology.  She then completed medical school at LSUHSC-S.  She continued her training at LSUHSC-S and completed residency training in Internal Medicine and fellowship training in Rheumatology.

Dr. Walton specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of rheumatic diseases including rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, osteoporosis, vasculitis, scleroderma, psoriatic arthritis and other connective tissue diseases.

Dr. Walton is a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology.

Dr. Walton joined Highland Clinic October 2011.  Visits are by appointment only.
