Dr. Scaltsas completed internship at Portsmouth Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, Virginia and served as General Medical Officer at Boone Clinic in Norfork, Virginia. Her residency training was at Eastern Virginia Medical School, Boston, Massachusetts. Her postgraduate work included a Teaching Fellow at Boston University School of Medicine and Assistant Professor, Eastern Virginia Medical School Department of Neurology.
Dr. Scaltsas joined Highland Clinic in 1996. Her background in the area of neurology has enhanced the services that are available to our patients. Dr. Scaltsas obtained her board certification in Sleep Medicine in 2006.
Dr. Scaltsas and her staff's goal are to provide an atmosphere that deals with concerns of the patient as well as provide quality medical care.
Patient visits are by appointment. Most insurance plans are accepted. Patients may be required to have a referral. This referral should be secured prior to the visit.
