Dr. Rushing attended LSU-Shreveport, graduating summa cum laude in 1981. She completed medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport, and was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, medical honor society. Internal Medicine intership and residency was obtained at LSUHSC. In 1993, Dr. Rushing completed an Endocrinology fellowship at LSUHSC.
Dr. Rushing cares for patients at Highland Clinic, providing Endocrinology consultation. Her areas of interest include insulin pump therapy, thyroid disease, and pituitary disease.
