Dr. Persson, after completing his residency program at DePaul Hospital in Norfolk, Virginia in 1988, began his private practice in Virginia Beach, Virginia. He continued his private practice from 1988 until 1993 at which time he joined the staff of NDC Medical Center in Norfolk, Virginia.
In 1996 Dr. Persson relocated to the Shreveport area and joined Highland Clinic. Board certified in Internal Medicine, Dr. Persson is also a member of the American College of Physicians.
He and his staff manage a practice that consists of a wide range services providing for the diagnosis and treatment of adults.
He admits to CHRISTUS Schumpert Highland Hospital and is a provider for most insurance plans.
Dr. Persson has a physician assistant working with him to provide care for his patients. Deborah Barron, PA-C, has practiced at Highland Clinic since 1999. She has extensive training in both Dermatology and Internal Medicine.
