Ken is a native of Shreveport and originally joined Highland Clinic in 1996, working in Family Practice as a physician assistant. He began working with Dr. Whited in 2000. He has served as an Assistant Professor at the Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center's Physician Assistant program, where he has been on faculty 1999-2009.
Ken started seeing patients in our Occupational Medicine Department, The Workplace.
He is a member of numerous organizations which include the: American Academy of Physician Assistants, Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants, Northwest Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants, Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants in Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.
He serves a Treasurer of the Louisiana Academy of Physician Assistants and Northwest Louisiana Association of Physician Assistants. He represents Louisiana physician assistants as a delegate to the American Academy of Physician Assistants' House of Delegates. In 2004, he was appointed by Governor Blanco to the Physician Assistant Advisory Committee to the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners and serves as Secretary of that body. Locally, he serves as a member of the Evergreen Presbyterian Ministries' Human Rights Committee.
He is an accomplished musician and photographer, but especially enjoys spending time with his two children, Blake and Madison.
